We researched and compared some of Australia’s best furniture retailers including Coco Republic, Harbour Outdoor, Domayne, Brosa Furniture, Jardan, Fanuli and King Living. We specifically looked at outdoor furniture exclusively and we’ve chosen the below furniture retailers to do our comparison. Our criteria of evaluation included design, price, quality, customer service, depth of product, cost of delivery, delivery time frame and refund policy.
After weighing up the odds, we concluded that Coco Republic was the best furniture retailer for outdoor furniture. Harbour
The Condos brother’s make a quality product that looks great to boot. Quality was very high, so were prices. Very few items in stock, showroom only in Sydney.
Brosa
Brosa furniture had a large range with lots of low price points that would suit those with a smaller budgets. Quality for the price you was fair.
Domayne
Domayne has large showrooms that offer a full range of outdoor products. Every showroom we visited (3 in Sydney) had a different layout and different stock. Prices varied but service levels were consistently low. Online offer was good though.
Jardan
Jardan had a selection of sturdy materials and Australian hardwoods, their outdoor collection is hip and cool, delivery times longer than others surveyed.
Fanuli
Fanuli offered outdoor furniture ranges that were all about using quality materials to create directional style. Quality products and a decent range.
King
King Living added their signature flexible modular system to their outdoor collection, the look was as modern and simple with quality you’d expect from King Living,

We found Coco Republic’s outdoor offer was the widest with a mix of products including timber, metal and woven pieces in a wide choice of outdoor fabrics, almost all in stock.
Finally, we liked the service. The showrooms are beautiful! Sure, the staff were distant at first but we like to browse alone anyway. When we needed help they were super friendly, they even gave us free champagne (I never say no!). More importantly, they could arrange delivery within the week (even though we live outside the city metro area) so we can take advantage of this amazing spring weather asap! Summer, here I come!
