Katrina is most well-known for her performances on the television show Masters of Illusion and her appearance on the hit TV show, Penn and Teller: Fool Us where she successfully fooled half of the duo, until Teller revealed how she did her trick.
The Pledge: Creating Her Magical Touch
Katrina Kroetch started performing and acting when she was only 3 years old after seeing The Wizard of Oz for the first time. Her love of old movies has inspired her magic and helped her create a glamorous, quick-witted show with a retro flavor. She began performing magic as a princess at children's parties when she was just 17. From there, she became hooked on magic. Katrina then enrolled in classes at the world famous Magic Castle and worked on her sleight of hand, presentation, and her scripting to go beyond performing as characters for children. She now creates many original effects and meaningful magic routines perfect for corporate audiences and more.
The Turn: Transitioning to the Virtual Space
When the pandemic hit in March of 2020, Katrina saw all of her live shows get cancelled; she lost six months worth of income in one week. Like a lot of people in the world, she had to act fast and pivot in an uncertain time. That is when she decided to offer her first virtual magic show that same month. Because of this, she won one of the first ever virtual magic competitions in May of that same year. This was only the start of her virtual magic journey.

Magical Katrina has performed virtual magic shows for the top organizations in the world. This includes NASA, Microsoft, Ducati, Wells Fargo, Cisco, Nestle, John Deere, Amazon, Google, Apple, Robinhood, and many other Fortune 500 companies. She has also performed virtual magic for the world famous Magic Castle in Hollywood, California.

Behind the Curtains
Because of all the success she's achieved as a virtual magician, she decided to pay it forward by teaching other magicians how to set up virtual performances. She has lectured for the International Brotherhood of Magicians, the Society of American Magicians, and the world's largest online magic retailer, Penguin Magic. Katrina has also volunteered and been an advocate for Magicians Without Borders and the nonprofit Emergency Circus, donating her time and performances to help and inspire those in need.

Magical Katrina is the winner of five different magic awards. This includes winning first place at AbraCORNdabara's virtual magic contest in May 2020. She was awarded the Pacific Coast Association of Magician's Family Entertainer of the year for 2021.
