Andy & Deb Lamont picked up a passion for pest control from their parents who were also in the pest control business. Since 1995, the couple have accredited the business's growth to a focus on customers and franchisees of whom many have been with them since the beginning. Starting out with one van in Palm Beach Queensland, the founders quickly grew the business in south-east Queensland to over six figures in just over a year. Mr. Lamont has always led the company's sales and marketing. And, at the mature age of 50, also added a Bachelor of Law to his achievements. The avid adventurer, Andy successfully attempted a solo non-stop sail around the world in 2016. The voyage took 9 months in a 34 foot yacht and also allowed Andy to generate much needed support for a number of charities including the Global Microplastics Initiative and the Fred Hollows Foundation.

Ms. Lamont has been the backbone of operations since the business' inception building a strong team. Deb prides the company's customer service record on the close-knit team and the founder's complementary skill set.

Real growth started when the couple's franchise model allowed for rapid growth without outside investment. The franchise model doesn't charge fixed costs or massive up-front fees, but rather focuses on profit share that allows franchisees to start a business with very little cost. The couple is proud of the fact that the franchise model is fair, low risk, and offers franchisees greater opportunities for long-term financial independence.
