Prices vary by model and location. Installation usually includes labor, materials and two trips for in-ground systems. If you have special requests such as disposing / removing old hoops or jack hammering into your driveway please be sure to let your installer know so they can be prepared and give you an accurate quote.
Process
After ordering the basketball system you should receive a tracking number. Upon receiving this you can schedule installation letting them know when the estimated arrival date is. Some installers require that you be there for installation while other do not. Clarify these details with them before committing.

Since shipping transit times are only estimates, it’s prudent to wait until the basketball system has actually been delivered before scheduling an installation date and time.

On average, installation will cost around $450.00 for an in-ground system if you have it professionally installed. This includes two trips, labor and materials. Roof and wall mounted basketball systems will cost less because there are no material costs and assembly can be done in only one trip (no concrete).
There are several things that can increase the cost of installation including jackhammering into exisiting concrete, disposing of your old system, cost of concrete, location etc. Be sure to let the installer know everything you want done so he can give you an accurate quote.
On pier based systems like the Pro Dunk and Hercules, installation is a two part process. The first day you will dig the hole, pour the concrete and set the J-bolts(~1.5 hours). After the concrete dries (2-7 days), you can assemble the system on top of the pier (~1.5 hours). At this point, you’re ready to start the slam dunk contest!
Concrete curing times can vary based on the type of concrete you used and the climate (temperature, humidity). Please follow the instructions on the concrete used and do not play on the basketball goal until it is fully cured
