Ahmed Elbatrawy and real estate: it’s more than just a business

Ahmed Elbatrawy was born on August 25, 1971. The Egyptian-born entrepreneur emigrated to the US in 1994 and, like many immigrants, he faced difficult challenges.

"I was alone in a new country and I constantly needed to prove myself. I had to make a living. I had to learn how to be a leader and how to be number one," he says.

Despite the hurdles he faced, Elbatrawy graduated from Full Sail University with a BFA degree in Music Technology. But his career was to take him in a completely different direction. Elbatrawy was to become a real estate entrepreneur.

He began his career selling timeshare vacation ownership. As his career was taking off, he experienced a pivotal moment when he became seriously ill. During his convalescence, Elbatrawy realized that the success he had attained could also be attained by others. So he decided to share his knowledge and expertise.

"I wanted to change the world and leave a legacy. I wanted to teach as many agents as possible how to be successful," he says.

Aside from helping others. Elbatrawy is also giving back through his agency, Engel & Volkers Orlando by making regular donations to the Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Adapting in the fourth industrial revolution
