After reviewing their product & online customer reviews Sortly was our top pick. Sortly have a uniquely customizable system makes inventory tracking a breeze across any industry. With ERPs, every integration requires time (Netsuite has some horror stories), and every deployment comes with a high risk of failure. Sortly was the most agile in that respect.

NetSuite is, simply put, HUGE. It is the #1 enterprise software in the world and with size comes complexity. There are plenty of businesses of all sizes that love Netsuite, and plenty that don’t. Netsuite are a cloud ERP solution, providing a suite of applications, from accounting and financial planning, to warehouse management, ecommerce, inventory management.

One thing about NetSuite is engineered to scale with businesses as you grow and to streamline mission-critical processes.

CONSIDERATIONS:

Cost – it can get really expensive, we read a lot of online reviews complaining about the cost vs other solutions.
Integration – again, a lot of complaints online from customers having long and arduous implementation cycles.

3. Skubana

Skubana starts from $1000 per month, you’ll need to confirm costs after speaking with their sales consultant

Skubana suits small and large businesses, and businesses at any stage of growth. They are described as multichannel brands and high-volume marketplace sellers. They are a cloud platform that boosts (their words, not mine) that they “minimize storage costs, dead stock, stockouts, balances your inventory turnover ratio, and frees up capital”. Skubana suit multichannel brands and does a good job of establishing a holistic view of your sales data, fulfillment data, and automated supply chain management across most channels.

WHAT WE LIKED:

Easy to manage multi-channel orders
Ability to integrate with sales channels and warehouses
Inventory tracking was solid

CONSIDERATIONS:

Cost – although cheaper than Netsuite for most small businesses, it’s not the cheapest solution. If cost is a priority over customizability then you should consider Cin7

Our Conclusion

They all have pros and cons, but after careful review Sortly was our top choice due to its comprehensive features, great customer support, customer reviews & reasonable price. Sortly’s inventory management System is modern, simple yet very powerful and precise cloud inventory management software.

Netsuite is amazing, but it’s a lot to implement, operate, and its price can be prohibitively expensive. Finally, Skubana is on our last spot due to their higher plan pricing although they have grown into a leader in marketing automation.

Our review is not meant to be exhaustive, these are complex SaaS products. But after careful review we do think Sortly have an edge, especially for SMB’s looking for a cost effective solution. We recommend booking a consultation to learn more about which solution would suit you best.
