BigCommerce is a good second choice also designed to convert, their site includes advanced, conversion-boosting features.
Both platforms offer similar prices but if you are just starting out in e-commerce we recommend trying Shopify first, it had a shorter learning curve, more apps/services, and scales better than Big Commerce.
